MSU publishes 'Return to Campus' Position Paper

MSU President, Liam Cosgrove stated:

'The return to University campus following a very long and challenging pandemic is incredibly exciting. However, it is not just as easy as going 'back to normal'. There are a lot of questions, logistics and nuances in the return to campus this year unlike any other year.'

'I believe that one of the key elements of navigating a successful return is ensuring all stakeholders are involved and on board. This year I want Maynooth Students' Union to be pro-active not just reactive. Therefore, I directed the team to start engaging with students and gathering feedback and putting it all together into a position paper so that we could more effectively represent what it is that students want from the return to campus.'

'Armed with this information and mandate from the students it means we can bring concrete feedback and proof to all our University meetings and committees and push for as much of it to be included as possible. While certainly challenging I truly believe that the pandemic and the return to campus create an opportunity to reimagine so many aspects of University teaching, learning and student life.'
