Student Charter Committee

The Student Charter Committee (SCC) is established by the Student Academic Assembly to review and develop the Student Charter.

Membership

Membership of the committee shall be as follows, namely:

Vice President Education
Arts, Celtic Studies, & Philosophy Faculty Convenor
Social Sciences Faculty Convenor
Science & Engineering Faculty Convenor
Two members of the Arts, Celtic Studies, & Philosopy Faculty Assembly
(elected by the Arts, Celtic Studies, & Philosophy Faculty Assembly)
Two members of the Social Sciences Faculty Assembly
(elected by the Social Sciences Faculty Assembly)
Two members of the Science & Engineering Faculty Assembly
(elected by the Science & Engineering Faculty Assembly)

Chairperson

The Vice President shall be the Chairperson for the committee.

Frequency

The Committee shall meet on at least four occasions per academic year, normally with two meetings per semester, and then as often as required to carry out its function.

Quorum

Quorum should be no less than 50% of those entitled to attend and vote.

Governance

The Committee shall report back to the Student Academic Assembly at least twice per year, normally once per semester.
